Property Information

A typical Villa from the 1930s forms the main body of the Hotel, which is completed by two other buildings, "Villa Morea" and "Casa Pradel" connected by a covered walkway and a spacious shady garden. The complex lies in a tranquil and panoramic location along the Lagoon facing the San Marco Basin, and is just 10 minutes away from St. Mark’s Square and 300 meters from the beach. The rooms are, all handsomely appointed with antique furniture and decor from the era, to offer the delightful feeling of a private home to which old friends return year after year. The Restaurant Villa Mabapa, is famous around town for its service and the quality and presentation of its dishes featuring seafood, fresh vegetables, and typical Venetian specialities served outdoors on a magnificent terrace by candle-light in the warmer months.

I would recommend the hotel and in particular, its location. Fairly quiet, but with the Lagoon on its doorstep and only a few minutes boat-ride across to the bustle of Venice and St. Mark's Square. Also, 10 minutes walk to the other side of the Lido for the private beach and the Adriatic.

The hotel is well placed on Lido to visit both the main islands of Venice and the island's beaches within minutes - it faces the lagoon and the famous sea approach to Venice. The staff look after you well and there is ample room for relaxing - an outside bar and restaurant and internal lounges and nooks and crannies. I thoroughly enjoyed my week there and would go back without hesitation.
